I payed the Bill for a close friend and could not believe the outstanding service and wonderful attitude all the way around she received. Shooting Starr for sure!!! giggles
Good, thorough, reliable and honest!
Wonderful service, I've gone here for any car trouble that was out of my personal repertoire. Amazing towing prices and reasonable repair costs along with helpful future information to make sure my car is running tip-top shape. Highly recommend
I like working there most days
Last night of our vacation a brake locked up on our F350. A local man recommended going to Starr's to get the repair done. We were to leave the next morning to go back to Indiana. If you have ever had automotive failure away from home, you know that helpless feeling of not knowing where to go, or how long it is going to take. 8am next morning, I arrived at Starr's. Owner Richie told me they would look at the vehicle and told me not to worry, I came to the right place, he would get the truck fixed by the end of the day. Had a great conversation with Richie about private business ownership and his daughter's new bakery business. I knew, in all probability, damage had been done with the front brake staying engaged. It got smoking hot. As I suspected, rotor, disc, hoses, ect were all toast. They had courier deliver parts from Pensacola that afternoon. Long story short, our truck was ready at 5pm. Yes, they are probably not the cheapest garage around, but you have to be willing to pay a premium price for premium service. Important to us was their willingness to take our vehicle in as a priority and getting us on the road so we could get back to our family business in Indiana. Thanks to Starr's
Me and my boyfriend vacationed to Navarre for the weekend from Nashville, Tn. My car broke down Saturday morning and we were stranded in a parking lot. Star's was the only place that answered our call even though they weren't open, sent a tow truck, and fixed my car by 11 Monday morning so we were able to make our checkout time. They even came and picked us up to take us to the shop! Very nice and helpful staff!
Randy towed our truck home for us. He was fast, efficient, and helpful. Glad to have a reliable towing company nearby.
I had my car towed. They new what the problem was and got the car started. They towed it to our house for safety purposes anyway. The guys was super nice and responded to our call in 20 minutes.
I only trust my car to starrs! Last year they put a new transmission and clutch in my car after another shop botched the job. The owner and shop manager at Starr's went above and beyond to help me. Now I go to them for all of my car needs. Also they have cute dogs that you can pet while you wait :-)
Starr's has been a tremendous help with our car, finding a car rental, and finding a hotel. They have gone above and beyond any other auto repair business and I highly recommend them for any repairs needed, small or large.
Had some car trouble today and had to have it towed to the dealership due to it overheating. Starr's Towing was the company that my insurance company made the call to. David was dispatched out to do the job. From the point of arrival he did everything he could to make me feel as comfortable as possible about putting the car on his truck. Keep in mind, this is a 2012 Challenger that sits fairly low to the ground and isn't ideal for going up steep inclines. Care was taken to ensure any point that the cable or towhook might touch the exterior of the car there was some sort of padding and he had blocks and boards that kept the front of the car elevated so it didn't drag along the bed until the front wheels made contact. I have never felt more at ease about letting someone take the keys to that car. I would definitely recommend Starr's Towing for anyone's towing needs.
These guys know their stuff... highly recommned
Billed me $180 to tow my wrecked car and the high bill was due to an emergency tow. When the Florida highway patrol require a tow the company that has to haul a wrecked car must prioritize and stop other tow jobs and respond. So they could lose one tow job to respond to a highway patrol request. Did a great job putting my car on a lift for a safety check. Helped me to un jam my driver door also - Polite folks - but their dogs will growl at you. Great job
I originally had an appointment scheduled with another auto repair shop that I normally use to figure out what the warning light that had appeared meant for my vehicle, however, they were unable to address the issue today...but knowing my schedule they accommodated me by calling other shops & Starr's was able to accommodate this last minute diagnostic & repair into their schedule. Trevor even took the initial paperwork from the original repair shop as well as have his crew perform their own analysis and locate the part required (which is not easy on a vehicle that is no longer made) and complete the repair. Ryan was my shuttle driver to & from the shop and this at least made it so I didn't have to sit around the shop & wait for the repair to be completed. The quote was what I expected based on my own research & I am quite satisfied with the service I received and should I need services in the future I now know of another shop that I can take my vehicle to locally.
My dad and I have gone to Starrs Auto since I got my car and his past 3 cars. Great service! Friendly people! I highly recommend!
I like working there
Beyond satisfied. Pricing is comparable in labor and paid less than expected in parts. Stayed late to complete my vehicle for when I needed it. Gave several estimates so I could find one that fit my budget. Went above and beyond to keep me informed and ensure I was satisfied. Will not take my vehicles anywhere else. Oh and a lot of companies have photos on there sites that are not of there specific shop and employees (actually most are models)....Just a heads up incase that's a concern when choosing a company to provide you a service lol. (WOW) And lastly I first took my Jeep to a highly reviewed auto shop in Navarre and received the worst service.....they never followed up as promised and gave me two different estimates verbally even though I requested a written estimate, also knowing the issue with my vehicle was a dangerous safety one, had the nerve to tell us to drive safe after we asked to leave it parked there until they could get us a written estimate and do the work because we were nervous about driving it and the mechanic said I would be too. Reviews are opinions. Just because I like pink doesn't mean you do!
First time here, was a bit nervous but quickly changed, these guys went outta there way to show me exactly what was wrong, gave me options to fix it with different prices. I didn't feel "stuck" with a fixed price. They were pretty reasonable but having me choose what to do and how much to spend, that's were the A+ comes into!
Starr's has worked on the following vehicle types for me: Chevy, Chrysler, VW and BMW. I made the mistake of taking my VW Touareg to a local chain garage for a brake overhaul a few years ago. Not only was the job not completed, but this chain garage damage parts of the suspension while attempting the original work. After calling the Corporate Offices for this chain I had my VW towed to Starr's. Starr's fixed the damaged suspension, completed the brake overhaul and communicated with the corporate offices of the chain garage to ensure I was not charged for the repair, an agreement I had already reached. Recently, I took my BMW to the dealership for repairs (warning lights on) - after the diagnostics were performed I received a PDF via email, before any phone calls, recommending more than $8,000 in repairs. I took the BMW to Starr's for a second opinion, sharing the report I had from the dealer. To my surprise, Starr's recommended a work order totaling about 40% of what the dealer recommended and went so far as to show me items listed as needing repair by the dealer that were in normal working order. Starr's has earned my business.
A friendly, knowledgeable staff that took care of my truck in short order. They gave me a ride back to where we are staying and then picked me up when the truck was ready. Prices were comparable. I'll use this shop again.
I've used Starr's Auto Repair in Navarre for more than two years for all types of repairs. Richie, Trevor and the team have always done a great job for me. They are quick with their repairs, offer good prices and stand behind their work. I have no problem recommending them for any auto repair needs!
I was a little reserved about going to Starr's, due to some of these reviews. After 2 visits to them, my reservations were annihilated. My first visit, I had just moved here from California (drove), and took my Lexus Rx300 in. I was having problems with my brakes, and my car felt a bit off balance, and also to get an oil change. I had walked in, Trevor helped me, and told me they'd take a look at it. About 20min after dropping it off, Trevor called me, and said there's some serious problems, caused by my previous mechanic. Trevor was able to name EXACTLY, everything that my previous mechanic had done before I took the drive from Cali. to here, without even knowing what had been done. I ended up paying for everything my previous mechanic had done again, and then some because of the previous mechanics faults. In my opinion, my old mechanic had put my life, and others in danger, by not doing the repairs properly. The guys at Starr's, made sure myself and others were safe, because after picking my car up it had NEVER driven smoother, or had been that quite, while driving. Several months later (this past Thurs.), for my next oil change, I also wanted to get my tires rotated as well. Once again, these guys hooked me up greatly, after a LONG week of bad luck with everything. Again Trevor helped me, real honest, straight foward guy, and you don't find that much these days, most of the time it's people out for themselves only. I already knew my battery, spark plugs, air filter, needed to be replaced. And I had a suspision about an oil leak also, after looking under the hood a few days earlier. I was trying to avoid having to get them done, and didn't mention them to Trevor. Well, Trevor called me 20min later, honest as can be and said they needed to be replaced immediately, and that he's 99% sure the leak was a gasket that had not been put back after my timing belt was replaced (old mechanic again). Just as how my luck had been last week, everything was going wrong, and it showed to them too. They were not able to finish my car that day, and it was going to be finished the next day by 9am.. Wrong, they ended up getting a brand new battery and bam, a dud. So they had to wait for another one to come in, they were feeling my pain. I didn't ask them to replace any of my bulbs, but they did out of courtesy no charge, because of how long it was taking (Thanks Guys) :). Got my car back later that after noon, looked under the hood and everything was done as said (some places tell you they did something, but never did, or say "they forgot", not these guys), but of course my bad luck kicked in again on Sat., check engine light came on at random. Called Starr's and unfourtunately they were closing shop for the rest of the weekend, and I was 30mi away, totally understandable, mechanics need days off too. Was told by Mr Starr, to bring it in first thing @ 7:30am Monday. Come Monday, took it in, come to find out some trash had gotten on my engine, they took care of it, no problems since. Everyone was nice in there, happy, and smiling, right down to the pugs runnin' around in there. Just a great vibe, and a bunch of really good people working in there, who really are Fair, Honest, Committed, and Considerate to others. Trevor had said, if you notice anything please come back by, and I am 100% sure I will. Thanks Starr's!
Honestly could't have asked for better service. I called them this morning and they said bring it right in. They even gave me a ride to my apartment to wait. An hour later it was ready. They were honest and fair. No complaints here.
